G'day,
Hope this is in the right area.
I have had a particularly bad run with Logitech mice. Basically, after just a few months, I have either had the doubleclick problem when single picking because of the switch on the pick button bouncing, or the wheel button ends up scrolling as though I have scrolled multiple clicks when scrolling just one click. Each time I was told it would not be covered by warranty and told to try another one. Three mice later, I am looking for an alternative.
I see the X7500 and it looks interesting. Basically I have become used to the two extra buttons where I have the forward button assigned to double click and the back button to escape. These assignments are essential when using AutoCAD.
So, I am trying to download as much information as I can to make sure I can assign these functions. Also, there is a little confusion over what appears to be an extra button right at the front.
Where can I download the HP Mouse Control Centre, and something that clearly lists the buttons and what can and cannot be assigned? This is because the package contents from the site I am looking at does not mention any CD.
I am using a HP ProBook 4740s with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
Thanks.
